The art installation is a social commentary on violence and insensitivity. In response to the innocent men who worked for my family and were killed in a massacre by members of gangs who oppress urban transportation in Honduras, I replicated three victim figures covered with a plastic bag made of a blanket dipped in plaster. During my last years living in Honduras, I became used to a scene uncommon in small-town Arkansas. The installation offers viewers the chance to experience this unique scene for themselves.
